Have you ever wanted to see the world from another angle? How about upside-down? If so, you could volunteer for this:“A visual artist… is looking for a group of people to wear special goggles, which makes everything appear inverted, for eight days.
The volunteers will live together in Manchester and record their experiences before appearing on stage at the city’s International Festival.
The group’s vision will remain upside down, even after the goggles are removed, for a short period.” (BBC)
I’m not sure I would want to go around seeing things upside down, really, but it certainly sounds interesting. Viewing everything upside down would be really freaky, especially when your body and eyes would be telling you two different things!

From what I can remember of my A-Level Psychology classes, they’ve done tests like this before and the individuals involved adapted remarkably quickly. The brain apparently takes a little while to adjust but after that you’re fine, with hardly any difficulty in co-ordination.
It’s fascinating stuff.
