The Lib Dems are proposing a so-called”Freedom Bill” to “repeal 20 years of attacks on our civil liberties”. Which is a huge u-turn from their usual position of attacking civil liberties everywhere they exist.

Maybe they’ll actually one day become true to their name and become liberal and democrats. Or, more likely, after a few headlines they’ll revert back to their authoritarian ways.
