		<description>It&#039;s also interesting that they&#039;ll legislate for an EDM with only 30 signatures and ignore those with many, many more. Looks as if they&#039;re using almost any excuse to push through the laws they want in place, rather than deciding if they are the right laws to have on the statute books.

What would happen if, say, an ex-MP is asked to appear before a committee? Will they be granted permission, or could they refuse to appear because of these new rules?</description>
