Our European colleagues know that Britain will not play ball for very many years - Cameron&#039;s government may well be the last government to talk to the EU at all. By the time 2015 GE comes around and Cameron has proved worthless in protecting Britain neither Labour nor Tory will win.</description>

		<description>Whilst I agree a referendum would be useless in the sense of us blocking the agreement of the Lisbon Treaty, there is an argument saying if we got a no vote in a referendum, the EU would know what the British people want, and this would give us a bargaining chip for the future. I am not convinced with this argument.

What I cannot work out after reading your post is what you really think about the EU. I think you are comfortable with our membership? To call UKIP idiots does not help the debate move forward. Throwing abuse at people never does.</description>
