Be vewy, vewy qwiet. I’m hunting woxes.
Labour would appear to have a bit of an obsession with hunting. They are fanatically opposed to it, though the only reason appears to be because foxes are cute (and of course that as hunts are held in the country, they’re probably going to be Tory supporters).
Labour are trying to smear the Conservatives by claiming that repealing the hunting ban is a “priority” for the Tories – despite the obvious facts that David Cameron has made it clear that his priorities are fixing the economy, mending our broken society, and our health and education services.
Labour are just trying to create an image of nasty Tory hunters running amok slaughtering innocent ikkle foxes, rather than the civilised truth of fox hunting and its importance to the rural economy. They are trying to cast the Tories as the nasty party, and undermine the truth of compassionate Conservatism.
Just one question for Labour: why are you so interested in the Conservatives policy on hunting? It’s hardly the most pressing issue! Education, health, the economy. They are the important issues. They’re the issues that need urgent attention. How about focusing on the issues that actually effect us rather than some ineffective electoral posturing?
